Great sushi and other Japanese dishes too! Probably the best Japanese restaurant in Pinellas County. Nice interior and friendly staff. The prices are fair and the quality of the seafood is excellent. I regret that it took us so long to discover this gem!

Felt like staying in and ordered Umai Cafe for take-out delivery on our last night in Sand Key. We both ordered a teriyaki bento box and we're pleasantly surprised by the amount of food+sides and overall quality. The miso soup was so soothing, the tempura batter perfection, and the California-roll alternative was a delicious imitation crab + crunchy flakes combo. My beef teriyaki was tender and I really enjoyed the teriyaki sauce. Falls in my realm of comfort food after several days of eating American/casual poolside. I've read good reviews of Umai being a favorite local spot and I can see why. Definitely filled our craving for Japanese/Asian cuisine while on vacation in FL!
I came in for lunch and got a seat right away. The staff was very quick to bring me water and take my order when I was ready. The lunch special was a good deal, I got 3 sushi rolls and they were all delicious. I would for sure come back here if I were in the area again.
Sushi is very good! That's what we normally get but we got the ramen last time and we all loved it!
I love this place. They have a very good quality food and the place is right in downtown Clearwater with a big parking for this plaza. I love to order to go food, it's always ready in 10-15 min and no mistakes in orders. I love their place. It's small but cozy. And prices are very competitive.
Wow, can't believe I haven't left a review. I think it's cause I'm here all the time. This is my local go to spot and great for your everyday sushi or light date night out. Service is great, food is always been spot on, prices are pretty reasonable really nothing to complain about here except the occasional homeless in downtown Clearwater on your walk over I've been here, probably north of 15 times I don't think I've ever had a bad experience
My go to sushi spot. They have great sushi options and a good lunch menu. Decent pricing and never had an issues with my orders. Their kimchi is also really good.
They have excellent Sushi always look at the specials. They're the best deal with usually the best tasting in my opinion. They have two rolls and three rolls specials for lunch, which includes either a small salad or soup.
